Timothy Garza of Lenorah, Texas passed away April 10th, 2024. The memorial Service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, at the Funeral Home. Timothy was born and raised in Wallington. He enjoyed taking many trips to visit family and friends. He was an outdoorsman, loved fishing, hunting, and camping. Tim retired from the Navy after serving 30 years. He also worked 20 years with IKON Office Solutions, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chistopher. He is predeceased by his wife. Survivors: Children, Amy Lasalle and Eric Garza; step-children, Jamie & Christina Epps; seven grandchildren; three brothers; one sister; many other family and friends.

Gale Denslow of Mescosta, passed away April 5th, 2024. She was born in Lansing to Edward and Maggie Dickey. She was a home maker and a loving mother, grandmother, and great grand mother. She is survived by her daughters Susan Nieto, Angela Robert, Brenda Knight, and Son Bryan Denslow of Argyle: Sisters Lorene, Sally, and Carolyn and brother Charlie: numerous grand children and great grand children.

Dr Steven Gorham of Messick, passed away March 20th, 2024. He was a practicing physician for 40 years. He was one of the first graduates from Caney Creek College now known as Alice Boyd College in Pippa Passes. After graduating, Phi Beta Kappa in 1965 he enlisted in the United States Navy Upon his honorable discharge, he was selected as one of the first recipients of the Rural Medical Scholarship Fund. Following his medical internship, he extended his service to our country by volunteering in the Vietnam War as a medic. At the time of his discharge, he opened his first medical practice 10 days later. In 1972 he left left his practice to briefly practice in the field of radiology at Moorehead hospital. Dr. Gorhamy is survived by his sons John (Vivian), Bobby (Mary), William (Kim), Daniel ( Martha) along with one brother Luther (Rosemary); Two sisters Janet (Glenn) Moore; seventeen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren

Myron Sullivan of Boswell, went home to the Lord on February 2nd, 2024, at the age of 80. Memorial service: In honor of Myron's wishes, the family will have a private prayer service. Myron was born April 19th, 1941 in Konigsberg, Germany to the late Donald and Margarette Sullivan Tindall. Myron had a successful career in finance, serving as an executive vice president at The Associates in Las Colinas before founding Matrix Mortgage in Hurst. Myron was a devoted family man who dedicated his life to his children and grandchildren. He was a faithful servant of the Lord and regularly attended Peace Lutheran Church and Crown of Life Lutheran Church. When not helping a neighbor in need, Myron found peace being outside and working with wood in his garage. Myron legacy of teaching his family right from wrong will never be forgotten, and for that we are forever grateful. We miss you, Dad! Survivors: Son, Scott Sullivan of Colleyville; daughter, Michelle Morgan of Spring; their spouses, Becky and Chris; and grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Lauren and Ava.

Yvonne Odegaard of Edmond, passed away on January 16th, 2024. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 11:00am. She was born in Denton to her parents Donald and Barbara Sessions, and spent her childhood growing up in Denton. She attended SMU, which afterwords led a 28 year career running her own business, of which followed her retirement to spend more time with her family and friends. Yvonne is survived by her son Steve, and daughters Olivia and Rachel

Robert Bernhardt of Farley passed away December 10th, 2022. Robert was gently swept into the Lord's presence at Baylor Hospital. Many have been blessed by his generosity. Robert was always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends. He had a marvelous personality and was always a willing participant in charity work. He is preceded in death by his sister Janet and brother, Martin. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Survivors include children, George Bernhardt; Wayne (Etta) Bernhardt; Robin (Arturo) Agredano; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and cousins, Rudy and Gene Spurlock.

Bonnie Hannan of Linden, Michigan passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family on November 6th, 2022. Services will be 11:00 a.m. this Saturday at Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church located in Longview. Internment will follow at Wyche Cemetary. Bonnie leaves behind her children Edward and Gina.

Maureen Schorn of West Point passed away October 15th, 2022. Services will be Friday at 2pm. Maureen was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Susan; her brothers, Daniel and Lloyd and sister, Anne. Survivors Charles Schorn and wife Barbara; 10 grandchildren and sisters, Melissa Harris and husband Richard and Betty Stephens. In lieu of flowers the families suggest donations to the American Red Cross.

Bernard Fisher, of Pearce passed away September 24th, 2022 at Baylor Center. He was born in Clarksville to Donald and Ellen Fisher. Bernard served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years stationed in Bermuda serving on sea planes. He was employed with Amco Research as an electronics engineer for 15 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bernard is survived by his sons Kenneth and Paul.

 

Judy Turrieta of Safford passed away August 8th 2022. She was born in Rising Star City to Donald and Margarette Fitzgerald. She had graduated from O'Donnell High School and attended Southern Methodist University. She was a loving homemaker, wife and mother. Her hobbies were sewing and embroidery. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Morgan; daughter, Donniece Smith of Childress. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home in O'Donnell. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:30 Wednesday, in O'Donnell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials can be made to Swann Baker Rehabilitation Center.

Bruce Campbell of Bowie passed away July 6th, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Bruce's parents were Donald and Betsy Campbell, who were well established business owners. In his early years, the Campbell family lived in Pennsylvania. Bruce was the youngest of brothers: David Campbell (of Mesquite), Clyde Campbell (of Ponder) and Ray Campbell (of Odessa). Survivors include son Eric Campbell and daughter Jennifer Elway.

Phillis Cohorn of Willcox passed away June 26th, 2022. She was born in Travis County to Donald Betancourt and Margarette Betancourt. Phillis was a member of Wildwood Methodist Church. She was also a loving mother of five children: daughters, June Benton and husband Charles and Carol Ann Richards and husband Carver, all of Cuero, Gayle Wagner and husband Carrol of Katy; sons, Greg Cohorn of Cuero and Alvin Cohorn and wife Cindy of Missouri City. In addition to her children, she is survived by her brother, Clayton of Harris, and sister, Sarah McRancy of Kilgore. Memorials may be sent to Calvary Baptist Church of Cuero. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday

Thomas Iansworth of Clarksville passed away on May 25th, 2022 in Wyle Branch Medical Center. He was born May 18, 1956 in McKinney to Donald Iansworth and Wilma Margarette Iansworth. Thomas was preceded in death by his father Donald Iansworth. He is survived by his daughter; Heather Hawkins and her husband, Dorman; son, Justin Iansworth and his girlfriend, Dora; three grandsons, Gabriel Sandoval, Easton Hawkins and Michael Iansworth; two granddaughters, Natalia Sandoval and Cecily Sandoval; his mother and step-father, Wilma and Don Carlisle; two sisters, Karen Windham and Debbie Berg and her husband, Rick; three brothers, David Iansworth, and his wife, Sherri, Terry Iansworth and Danny Miller and his wife, T.J.; and numerous other family members.

Clinton Scott of Pearce passed away April 20th, 2022 at Baylor Medical Center. He was born in Barom County to Donald and Emily Scott. Clinton was employed with Sache Corporation as a technician for 35 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. Clinton is survived by his sons Greg and Jason Scott.

Doug Thompson of Willcox passed away March 3rd 2022. He graduated from Paradise High School in 1948. He earned a BA from Valparalso University, Ind., and an MA from the University of New Mexico. He was a professor of business at Paradise Junior College for 6 years and at Alms community college in Greeley for 20 years. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m.on Tuesday, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 1801 21st Ave. Memorial contributions may be made to the Paradise Lutheran Church Music Fund. He leaves behind his son Bill and daughter Kerry

Vickie Humble of Crosbyton, passed away December 5th, 2021.

She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed road trips and spending time with her friends and watching plays. Survivors include her Sister, Aida, brother Arthur, and son Benjamin. She is predeceased by her parents and grand parents. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, at Saint Marks church with family present to greet friends at 1:00 pm. Interment will be 1:00 pm Saturday at Rose Hill Memorial Garden

Sharon Huffman of Midland, passed away November 13th, 2021. She was a loving, caring, and devoted mother whose world revolved around her daughter Kayla. Survivors: her son: Greg; beloved daughter: Kayla; loving parents: Donald and Marcia; siblings: Laura Scharp (James), Lisa Bonsall (Joseph), and Kenneth Alexander, grandmother: Joan Palmer-Post; a loving nephew and niece: Ethan and Ava; also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation: Thursday, from 6:30-8:30 pm

Juan Garza of Caplington passed away on October 21st, 2021. Juan was an active member of Farmersville Horse Riding Club at the time of his passing. He leaves behind his son Roger and his sister Maria White, both also of Weatherford. Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Farmersville with Wilson Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Garden Cemetery

Della Garza of Granger, passed away peacefully December 5th, 2020 in after a long battle with cancer. She loved baking, charity work, and anything that involved nature. She loved her children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, parents, and her brother, Alfonso. Surviving are her son, Oscar, her daughters, Marie (Harold) Galvan, Bettie (Richard) Englewood; her aunt, Sarah Martinez; her brother, Jorge (Carolyn) Cavazos; eight grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services: Saturday 10 a.m.

Gabriel Carrillo, of Post, passed away August 10th, 2020. He is survived by his son Roger and his daughter Sylvia Ramirez; his siblings Martin, and Melinda A. Arellano ; his grandchildren Edward Arellano, John W. Arellano and Blake M. Arellano. He was predeceased by his parents Donald and Margot Delgado, and his sister Maria Linares. Gabriel proudly served as a member of the United States Army. He worked for Baird's for over 30 years before retiring. He loved living on his farm, and being at the lake with his friends. He also enjoyed traveling and spending time with his vintage cars. A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM

Thalia Jauregui, of Desoto, passed away April 8th, 2020. Devoted and loving mother of Francis and Daniel and daughter Kim. She will also be missed by her many siblings, as well as brothers. She is survived by countless nieces and nephews. She worked at Windsor Regional Hospital - Ouellette Campus as a CSR/MDR Technician for 15 years. In the past, she was very involved in the Catholic Community. Thalia was an unsung hero, who didn't want recognition for the help her gave to so many people. Her message was always clear, "There is nothing more important than family". Visiting Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 with Parish Prayers
at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service Tuesday 10:15 a.m.
